EXPERIENTIAL PSYCHOTHERAPY Experiential Psychotherapy is a unique
way for clients to gain an awareness of themselves through physical
experiences. These experiences
range from physical movement programs such as yoga, pilates,
hiking, horseback riding, kayaking and running, to somatic experiencing
programs such as psychodrama, role play, and experiential games. All of these programs are designed to help the
client gain an awareness of themselves, the way the approach relationships
with people, and the way they approach various situations in life. This treatment is effective for the recovery
population, relational issues, developmental and adjustment issues,
mood disorders, eating disorders, and personality issues. |
